		Item Description

Victorian one date and maker of hand-forged silver Albert pattern cutlery for 12 settings. Each piece is engraved with a family crest of an arm holding a crescent.
The pattern dates from 1840 and was named after the Prince Consort, whose marriage to Queen Victoria took place in that year. The design is of the mid-Victorian rococo revival form with elegant scrollwork repeated on the reverse and this set comprises:
12 table forks
12 dessert forks
12 tablespoons
12 dessert spoons
12 teaspoons (1 x 1844)
Since knives rarely survive, we have included 12 pairs of new silver Albert table and dessert knives, all with stainless steel blades making them dishwasher safe.
