Hallmarked in London in 1795 by Solomon Hougham, this very attractive, George III period, Antique Sterling Silver Sugar Basket, is in the Neoclassical taste, featuring shaped sides, bright cut engraved decoration to the body and foot, and a swing handle. The sugar basket measures 4"(10cm) tall, by 7"(18cm) wide, by 4"(10cm) deep, and weighs 7.5 troy ounces.
