ORIGIN: London, England
MAKER: Goldsmiths Alliance (Samuel Smily)

Item Description

Pretty, antique silver goblet with hand-engraved frieze of stylised shells and scrolls with similar engraving to the beaded foot.

It bears the crest for Sir George David Harris of 32 Inverness Terrace, London - a demi-sea-dog with collar grasping a Cornish chough.

With its flat base, thin stem and conical bowl, the basic goblet shape has remained almost entirely unchanged in its form for centuries. When made in silver the goblet is often called a wine cup.

Prices exclude custom clearance fees which, where appropriate, will be charged directly to the client by your receiving courier, importer or government.
