Item Description

A lovely early George III georgian silver tail;espoon by the renowned makers Thomas and William Chawner.
This spoon has the maker's mark struck four times, thus evading the charges for Assay but the mark was only used for two years 1765-1766, so we know when it was made in any case!
20.5cm or 8 inches long.
