Item Description

A very nice example of a good heavy quality fiddle pattern spoon of substantial presence. Made by lady silversmith Elizabeth Eaton, widow of William Eaton. Mrs. Eaton very successfully continued her husband's business after his death, only to have her son sell it off after his coming into the firm. (No good deed goes un-punished. )
