Item Description
A fine antique Chinese armorial porcelain plate, hand painted with a British coat of arms. Fine hair crack across the plate with refilled staple holes on back. Remarkably, this has been done to such a high standard it is hard to see on first inspection. Totally smooth and polished repair. Beautiful example of 18th Century export ware. Arms are of WEYLAND quartering ROBERTS and impaling SHELDON.
