Here is a superb Chinese Qianlong armorial porcelain sauceboat, made for the PRYCE or Price family. Beautifully painted armorial both sides and spearhead border. The shield with three spearheads.
Descended from the family of Pryce, The Priory, Brecon, Wales. The service was probably made for Sir Charles Price (1708-1772) of Rose Hall. He married in 1771 Elizabeth Hannah Guy.(Widow of John Woodcock).
