Item Description
What better use for almost a kilogram of raw silver than to have transformed it into this fabulous set of tablespoons. George Adams, the maker of these beauties, was at the top of his game when these were produced, and it shows. Thay have a fantastic, substantial weight to them which sets them apart from most Old English flatware. This set has a lovely patina and minimal signs of wear. The hallmarks are crisp and exceptionally well preserved. The crests are well engraved. The ONLY flaw is a very slight crease in the bowl of one spoon which probably happened simply as the result of opening and closing the silver drawer. An ideal way to complete a canteen of Old English flatware - or the auspicious start to one!
