Item Description

A fiddle pattern silver tea spoon by William Eley & William Fearn, London 1796/7, engraved obverse with the Nelson crest.
Length: 220mm / 8 3/4 inches

SAN JOSEF crest for Admiral Lord Nelson (1759-1805). Arms granted 28 Oct 1797 prior to his ennoblement in November 1798 as Baron Nelson of the Nile and Burnham Thorpe, when he was granted an augmentation to his arms.
