Item Description

This lovely crested early George II silver mug was made in London in 1730 by John Gamon and measures 3 5/8 inches tall by 2 5/8 inches in dia across the top and 2 13/16 inches across the base, it has a lovely original shaped cartouche to the front with the crest of a dove inside, it has a plain scrolled handle and plain thumb piece and is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base, a lovely mug with a good colour in excellent condition weighing 6.35 ounces or 197 grams.
