		Item Description
		
		A fine late 18th century armorial bookplate for the military collection of the Hon'ble Lt. Gen'l G. L. Parker.  Highly decorative and a rare example from the famous library at Shirburn Castle, the seat of the Earl of Macclesfield, head of the Parker family.
In excellent condition and framed inm matt black with a cream mount.  Dimensions (inc. frame) approx 15cm by 15 cm.
