Item Description
A fine Chinese armorial porcelain sauceboat. Of maritime interest, made for Captain George Blatchford, of East Indiamen 'Foulis'. He was in Canton in 1784 and 1787.
A captain of the same name recovered the ship 'Mary Celeste'.

Condition: Excellent, some fine regilding. Minute restored chip to edge of handle. Consolidated fine crack to the same.
