a fine square footed silver goblet with reeded collar, engraved with a coat of arms and family crest surmounted by the initials: JAG

Heigth: 168mm / 6 1/2"
crease and minor bruises to bowl.


History

The coat of arms, crest and initials suggest that the goblet belonged to the Rev. J. A.Glazebrook, a Church of England clergyman and vicar of St James's Church, Blackamoor, Lancashire from 1841 to 1884.
