An early 19th century armorial bookplate for Sir William Purves Hume Campbell Bart of that Ilk.
Sir William Purves-Hume-Campbell (1767-1833) succeeded his father, Sir Alexander Purves, as 6th Baronet in 1812 and added his maternal grandmothers maiden name (Lady Anne Hume-Campbell, daughter of the 2nd Earl of Marchmont.
Condition: very good.
Framed in matt black.
