Robert Stephen Stevens Esq. 1778-1856. Taken from a late Georgian bookplate (circa 1820). son of Robert Stevens of Ansford, Somerset, matric. Wadham College, Oxford 1796, where he remained a fellow until 1824 when he became Vicar of South Petherwin, Somerset.
