The Vavasour Family Crest
of Hazlewood, co. York, bat., extinct 1826; descended from Sir Henry le Vavasour, third son of William, first Lord Vavasour. Sir Thomas Vavasour, 7th and last bart. of Hazlewood, devised his estates to his cousin, Hon. Edward Marmaduke Stourton, who assumed the name Vavasour and was created a baronet in 1828.
