The Jennings Family Crest

Granted in 1847 by Sir Charles Young, Garter King of Arms and James Pulman Esq, Norroy King of Arms to "George Jennings of the City of York Esquire, late sheriff of said city, eldest son of Thomas Jennings and grandson of William Jennings late of the said city of York, merchants" to quote the grant. George Jennings had been Sheriff of York in 1837. His descendants later emigrated to the USA and the original grant is now in the possession of Doug Jennings of New York.
