A branch of the family currently headed by Sir George Brown 5th Baronet of Richmond Hill, Lancs. Edward Clifton-Brown, a great grandson of the 1st Baronet, changed his surname by deed poll 1 Feb 1923 and lived at Burnham Grove, Burnham, Bucks., JP Bucks., High Sheriff 1936; b.1870; m.1897 Dora Winifred (d.1962) d. of George Hanbury of Blythewood, Bucks., and d. 1944 leaving issue.
