Rt Rev Jeremy Taylor, Chaplain to Charles I and subsequently Bishop of Down and Connor. A noted philosopher, theologian and prolific writer, often called "the Shakespeare of the Church of England" and best known for "holy living" and "holy dying". Born in Cambridge in 1613 the great grandson of Rowland Taylor, the tudor Martyr. Married an illegitimate daughter of Charles 1. His daughter married Francis Marsh, Archbishop of Dublin.
