John Rogers - 1743-1831. Only son of Thomas Rogers of Besford Court, Worcs. and his wife Mary dau of Capt. Englesby of Upton on Severn. Succ. father 1773. Purchased 1782 the manor of Yarlington, Somerset [BLG 1937, under Wright-Rogers of Yarlington]. He m.1774 Anne Reynolds dau and sole heir of Pickering Robinson of Rawcliffe, Yorks. and eventually heir to her great uncle Samuel Lloyd of Friday Hill, Chingford, Essex.
