The Barton Family Crest
Thsese arms were on the official seal of Robert Barton, of London, brother of Dr. John Barton, ton, of Salem, Mass., from whom this family descends. He came over from England in 1672, bringing with him a parchment bearing the same arms, and still preserved in the family. They belonged to the Bartons of Threxton Hall, Co. Norfolk, England.
