The Thatcher Family Crest

Here is a clear pedigree from the Rev. Thomas Thacher, or Thatcher, born at Salisbury, England, in 1620, and belonging without contest to the Thatchers of Ringmer, Co. Sussex, originally of Co. Essex {Visitation of 1634). The arms we give are found on the seal of a letter written in 1676, by the first Thomas Thatcher, of Boston, to his son, Peter, in London. Such a seal exists still.
