The Chester Family Crest

Leonard Chester of Blabie, Co. Leicester, England, of the same family as Sir Robert Chester [tempo. Henry VIII.], came over to Connecticut, where he was buried in 1648. The devices we give are found on a seal used by one of his descendants, Colonel John Chester, who distinguished himself at Bunker Hill.
