The Gold Family Crest
The arms we give were borne by Major Nathan Gold, who came from St. Edmondsbury, South of England, during the reign of King Charles II., and who was amongst those who obtained the famous ""Charter of Connecticut. ""We remark that these same arms are given by Burke, as impaled by St. John, on a monument for his wife Mary, daughter of Sir Nathan Gold [notice the coincidence of names], knt., in Lenthorp Church, England.
