The Bradstreet Family Crest
The first of the name in this country, Simon Bradstreet, who succeeded Governor Leverett in 1679, came over in 1630 from Hoebling, county Lincoln, where his father, Simon Bradstreet, was Minister. He used the arms we give as his seal. Another family of Bradstreets springs from Humphrey Bradstreet, who came from Ipswich, England, in 1634.
