The Pennington Family Crest
Ephraim Pennington, whose pedigree is clearly traced to the Penningtons of Pennington, county Lancaster, came over and settled at New Haven, Ct., in 1643. His only son, Ephraim (the second), passed over to New Jersey, and settled in Newark. Of the same stock belong the Lords Muncaster of Castle Cumberland.
