The Lawrance Family Crest
These arms were given to Lawrance, of London, goldsmith, by William Dethick, Garter, in 1594. They are admitted to be the arms of the family of Lawrance, of Pennsylvania. The emigrant ancestor, Thomas Lawrance, had joined very early the Society of Friends, and died in 1775, in the province of New Jersey.
