The Dodge Family Crest
The emigrant, William Dodge, came over from Cheshire, England, to Salem, in 1629. He was issued from an old Kentish stock,—the only of the name noticed in Burke. Several patents, granting arms or confirming preceding grants, are preserved in the family to this day.
