The Salisbury Family Crest
Among the early emigrants of that name, we find Edward Salisbury, second son of Sir Henry Salisbury, Bart. (creation of 1609). Of the same stock, tracing back to the Salus-burys of Wales, we find John Salisbury, who died in Boston in 1702. Of course, this family is not in any way connected with the Cecil Gascoignes, Marquesses of Salisbury.
