Item Description

This Provincial James I silver seal top spoon was made C1620 by IB, it measures 5/8 inches in length and has a lovely, sharply decorated seal to the top of the stem which is gilded and the seal itself has had a coat of copper applied which can be seen in parts to make the gilding fix better. There are no other marks other than the makers mark and so far we can’t find the maker, the bowl is well formed with no signs of wear and has a crested applied to the back. A very nice spoon in very good condition.
