An exceptional Victorian silver claret jug with beautiful engraving and a most unusually pierced handle.
The glass is very finely decorated with ladies on each side in Greek or Roman attire.
The jug still bears the original owner’s lion crest to one side.
The condition of the engraving and the glass is excellent – a very fine claret jug.
