Item Description

A cracking set of twelve fiddle pattern dessert spoons made in Newcastle c.1810 by Dorothy Langlands, widow of John Langlands. After her husband's death in 1804, Mrs. Langlands registered her own mark and continued in business until 1814.

Lovely condition, with the occasional TINY ding in the bowls from 200 years of careful use. Beautifully engraved crests.
