SUPERB CHINESE KANGXI PLATE
VERY EARLY 1715
Chinese export famille rose porcelain from the early years of trade. Superb "Chine de Commande". Finely painted blue and white border with beautiful gold work. Wucai type decoration with under glaze blue peonies,iron red leaves centred with three pomegranates.Border with chrysanthemums ruyi heads and green enamel. Exquisite design for a distinguished European noble family.
EXCELLENT CONDITION Two small chips to rim, some typical glaze loss/wear to edge.Short hair line to rim. Still good for a piece this age! Please see pictures. Rings very well.
