Item Description

Some things, like great architecture, look just as elegant after centuries of use as they did when new. This early Georgian silver three-tined fork is just such an object. The tines show evidence of the three hundred years of service this item has seen, but somehow its allure is not diminished. It is a really sturdy, substantial eating implement, with elegant, simple lines which seem almost modern. This fork is engraved with a wonderful crest of a setting sun.
The silver is 95.8% pure - better than the usual 92.5% which sterling is.
